Bob Barr Wins Texas!!

This is pretty funny. Both the GOP and the Democratic Party have missed the filing deadline in Texas to get their candidate on the ballot, so Bob Barr is the only candidate on the November presidential ballot in Texas. Taken down by their own unfair ballot-access rules....that's priceless. Read about it here.

Encouraging Poll Numbers

Check out this article over at Liberty Maven that shows Bob Barr polling well for so early in the general-election race. He's already at 10% in New Hampshire and running at high single digits in many other states. Just a little better showing and Bob will have a strong case for inclusion in the presidential debates, and, if he can do that, he'll have by far the best vehicle to get his pro-liberty message out there--a message that John McCain cannot hope to match, especially when the target audience is pro-liberty Republicans.

UPDATE: Here's a list of states where Barr is polling already at 5% or better. Thanks to Lew Rockwell.

John McCain is a "Big-Government Republican"

I can't embed this one for some reason, so go here to watch Bob Barr in a short excerpt from an interview in which he calls John McCain a "big-government Republican." And he's right. Small-government consevatism and John McCain have nothing in common. It's time to send a message and take the Republican Party back by rejecting John McCain and voting for Bob Barr.
