- I'm here for one reason and one reason only: under George W. Bush, the Republican Party has left small-government, fiscally-conservative federalists like me in the dust. Now it's time for us to send a message. No, I'm not voting for that big-government, nation-building, freedom-crushing John McCain. This time I've had it, and I'm voting for Bob Barr for president. I encourage all Republicans to do the same. Send a message to the national party that we're voting for a small-government candidate--Bob Barr, not John McCain.

Of course America is not an "occupying power." We've been trying to leave Iraq for months, years now, and the Iraqis don't want us to go.
It's time to tell them, they're responsible for their own defense. We can leave some Troops there, but time to bring the bulk of our Troops home.
We've won, and won big. This has been the most glorious victory for the United States Military in our entire history. But it's just about over.
Barr is right. Time to start bringin' them home.
And if the Iraqis don't like it, so be it. Tough love approach.
